The measurement tool used in the research was a questionnaire created by the researcher (academic achievement test in writing lesson 3 and Persian grammar). The educational intervention was carried out in four sessions for writing book 3 and two sessions for teaching Persian grammar. To analyze data and test hypotheses, univariate analysis of covariance test was used with SPSS21 statistical software. The results of the research showed that teaching Persian grammar with the innovation method has a significant effect on increasing the writing ability of female students of the second year of high school in District 3 of Tabriz.
Extended Abstract:
Introduction
This study aimed to investigate the effect of teaching Persian grammar using the novelization method on the writing ability of second-year secondary school students in Tabriz District 3 in two lessons (memoir writing and literary prose) from the Writing 3 textbook, in the academic year 1400-1401. The novelization method is education through the development of creativity and based on innovative thinking, which deepens learning and sustains it in the minds of students. In this method, the student tries to learn the material with a new perspective and becomes familiar with the problem using methods of analogy and comparison. This method is also called intellectual innovation or metaphorical thinking learning. This model was developed and presented by William Gordon and his colleagues. Gordon began the application of the metaphorical learning or novelization model from the training of "creativity groups" in industry. The main element in originality is the use of analogies (Aghazadeh, 2013:392). Hosseini (2006:177) believes that the main goal and basic concern of the education system is to foster creativity and creative education for learners, and the first step in doing this is to identify the foundations of creativity and its practical use. The main question of this research was whether learning grammar through originality has an effect on the student's speaking ability?
Methodology
The statistical population included all 3000 female 12th grade students in District 3 of Tabriz Education and Training, and the statistical sample included two classes of 30 students from 12th grade, who were selected using convenience sampling and randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups. The measurement tool used in the research was a researcher-made questionnaire (Academic Progress Test in Writing Lesson 3 and Persian Grammar). Educational intervention using the creative method was carried out in four sessions for the writing book 3 and two sessions for teaching Persian grammar. Univariate analysis of covariance test with the software SPSS21 was used to analyze the data and test the hypotheses.
Results
The results of the study showed that teaching Persian grammar using the creative method has a significant effect on increasing the writing ability of female students in the second year of secondary school in Tabriz District 3.
Conclusion
The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of teaching Persian grammar using the creative method on the writing ability of female students in the second year of secondary school in Tabriz District 3. Analysis of the research findings showed that teaching Persian grammar using the creative method has a significant effect on increasing the writing ability of female students in the second year of secondary school in Tabriz District 3. These results are consistent with the research of Ghoshli (2005), Ojinejad (2007). In explaining this finding, it can be said that the use of the creative teaching model is recommended for learners to achieve a deep understanding and comprehension of the educational subject and the power of processing and retrieving information. Because learners who have been trained in the creative teaching method have been more successful in the process of creating motivation and desire for progress. Therefore, it is expected that teachers will also use this method in their teaching and that education and training will also help them in implementing this model.
