The spread of knowledge and information in recent decades has doubled the importance of indexes for information users. Nowadays, professional science groups employ a variety of techniques to process information and to provide quick, accurate, seamless, and comprehensive indexing. In the meantime, journal indexing agencies have emerged which categorize magazines, journals, and books according to accepted criteria and make them available to readers. After review and approval, the name of the journal is registered in the list of the approved journals of that indexing agency, and the authors' details, abstracts, and sometimes the full texts of the articles could be searched in the index. In fact, indexing represents the line of communication between information sources and users.
So, this year we tried to register JTPSOL in some of the most important international indexing databases. Some of them were among the largest abstract and citation databases of the world which, in addition to abstracts of articles, also contain the references list of each article and thus enable to calculate the number of citations for each article. Membership in some of them reflects that the journal team is committed to quality and free access to peer-reviewed articles, and that the database member is taking steps to comply with the transparency principles and to follow them as a condition of membership.
Given that the knowledge of Persian language teaching has been expanding over the past decade, we recognized that we need to provide access to research in this field to a wider range of international researchers. The difficult task of research requires that researchers in this field be informed of what is happening in the world of knowledge and research and conduct research more transparently. Undoubtedly, presenting the achievements of this field will contribute to better quality research, quick access to data, saving research time, and updating researchers' information.
